Gold payments aren’t the future – they’re already a reality

We spoke with one of our successful partners, Peter Marček, who was the first to introduce and integrate multiple businesses into the InGold PAY® system. He regularly helps clients to discover gold as a secure and timeless form of value. We were keen to learn what motivates him, how clients respond, and what advice he has for other retailers looking to actively join the system.
Gold and business: when traditional values take on new meaning
What role do you think gold plays in today’s world?
Anyone who doesn’t have precious metals in their portfolio really ought to sort that out as soon as possible, because the future favours those who are prepared. And that goes for individuals just as much as businesses.
What convinced you personally that gold and the InGold PAY® system have a future? What won you over?
First and foremost, you’ve got to really like gold and understand what it’s all about. Without that, it just won’t work. For me, the main thing was the fact that you can move your physical gold into an electronic wallet and actually use it to pay for things.
What’s your take on the interest from businesses and individuals in gold accounts and gold payments?
Every business owner really needs to sit down and do the maths. Here in Slovakia, transaction tax, growing company reserves, and looking after and rewarding employees all play a part. The economic savings can be quite significant. But you’ve got to tailor it to each client. A one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work in sales. You have to find what will hook them in each case.
