With its extraordinary and intricate designs, this unique and popular solid‑gold series upholds the tradition of the goddess Fortuna.
Twelve years, twelve mythical animals of the zodiac, twelve magnificent bars. The new series of minted bars celebrates each lunar year, starting with the Year of the Dragon in 2024, and tells legendary stories related to each of the twelve symbols of the Chinese zodiac. The first legend is that of the Azure Dragon, the guardian of the east and the harbinger of spring. It is said to have control over the rains that are necessary for a plentiful harvest. A limited number of these bars are being made, and depictions for the Year of the Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, Rat, Buffalo, Tiger and Rabbit will follow.
