New feature of the IBIS InGold app: One-step activation and identity verification
23. 02. 2026IBIS InGold continues to modernize its digital services and introduces a new version of the IBIS InGold mobile application. This has been supplemented with the ability to activate the application via personal documents, thanks to which immediate verification of the customer's identity can also be performed when installing the application.
This innovation is fully in line with the long-term direction of IBIS InGold, which brings modern technologies with intuitive procedures and a user-friendly environment to the field of physical gold investments. As in previous updates to the application, this time it is an extension that is intended to provide customers with greater comfort in managing their gold reserves and at the same time ensure that all legally required processes take place quickly, transparently and without unnecessary administration and burden on customers.
The newly implemented feature will be used by customers when installing the application, provided that they are subject to the obligation to verify their identity. In this case, they activate the application using personal documents and verify their identity as an integral part of this action.
Customers who do not fall into the category of persons with the obligation to verify their identity according to the legislation will continue to use the QR code available in their customer account to activate the application.
