April 2026 marks a major milestone in modern space exploration – the Artemis II mission, the first crewed journey around the Moon in more than 50 years. Following its launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on 1 April, the Orion spacecraft carried four astronauts (Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen) on a trajectory designed to test both technology and human capability in the transition to deep space and in the return to Earth.
